// FAQ
If yours isn't here, call the owner directly — we'd rather you ask than guess.
Conventional systems rely on anaerobic bacteria and a drain field to filter waste — they need lots of soil and the right percolation. Aerobic systems use injected oxygen to grow aerobic bacteria, which treat the effluent much more thoroughly. The treated water is then disinfected (usually with chlorine) and sprayed onto a designated yard area. Aerobic is required on most newer Texas lots because of soil and lot-size rules.
Texas requires three inspections per year on aerobic systems — that's the maintenance side. Pumping the tank is separate and depends on household size and usage; most homes need a pump-out every 3–5 years. We track your visit history so you're not guessing.
Audible or visible alarms, sewage smells in the yard, slow drains across the whole house, soggy ground around the spray field, gurgling toilets, or unusually green grass in patches above the field. Any of these = call us for a free estimate.
Call us for any alarm or backup. Because we're owner-operated, the fastest way to get us out is a direct phone call rather than a form submission. Our preventive contracts are specifically designed to keep customers OUT of the emergency category.
Starting at $22/month, our Auto-Tract contracts cover the state-required inspections, basic adjustments, and electronic reporting to your county. The savings come from catching small things (a worn diffuser, a sticky float) before they become a $1,200 weekend emergency.
